Finland, ca. 1970s or 1980s. A rare and collectible X-leg or fan-leg coffee table first designed by Alvar Aalto in 1954. Features ash top with distinctive, scalloped birch legs created by cutting one of Aalto’s original L-legs into multiple sections. Artek label to underside. In overall excellent vintage condition with pleasing patina. Dimensions: 33.5” wide x 33.5” deep x 20.5” high. Item: 3408-2.
