Cameroon, ca. late 20th century. A large hand-carved stool or side table from the Bamileke community. Fashioned from one solid piece of local teum wood and finished with a dark ebony stain. Traditionally reserved for ceremonies and as an indication of status. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 22.5” diameter x 16.5” high.
