India, ca. 19th century. A large and rustic low table, which started off its life as a raised bed most likely from the Bastar area. Features beautifully aged solid teak construction with turned legs and hammered iron brackets. Robust with great scale, this would make an unusual coffee table perfect for a family room - or a striking daybed with the addition of an upholstered cushion. Sturdy and in overall very good antique condition. Dimensions: 72” long x 38” wide x 22.5” high.
