USA, ca. 1940s or 1950s. An attractive stoneware bowl and vase from Glidden Pottery of Alfred, New York. Each features early modernist organic shape with gray speckled glaze. Each piece of Glidden was individually hand glazed, modeled and decorated by some of the most talented ceramic artists of the time including Glidden Parker, founder, Fong Chow, and Sergio Dello Strologo.
