Denmark, ca. 1970s. An elegant set of eight porcelain cups and saucers in Royal Copenhagen’s classic Blue Fluted Half Lace pattern. Originally introduced by Arnold Krogg in 1888, the design features graceful vines, flowers, and palmettes surrounded by a lace rim. Entirely hand-painted, there are 1,197 brush strokes required to paint one Half Lace dinner plate. Condition is excellent.
Dimensions: 5.25” diameter x 2.75” high (each cup and saucer overall).
