USA, ca. 1954. A more recent version of the Compact Sofa by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Features chromed steel frame with a slim and upright upholstered body that is firm yet comfortable . Open design is perfect for a small living room, office, or den - and still easily seats three adults. Currently upholstered in a medium gray fabric with minor wear as shown in photos. Sleek, solid, and quite versatile, this example is a great candidate for new upholstery, which RESIDE can facilitate.

We especially like this form draped with textiles and covered with pillows - just as Charles & Ray did in their LA house.
