USA, ca. 1930s. An attractive set of eight large goblets in the 1066 Aurora pattern by Cambridge Glass. Finely executed, each features a dark amethyst bowl supported by a distinctive clear round stem with faceted and cross-hatched details. Great for water, iced tea, or cocktails, the condition is excellent.

Formed in 1873, Cambridge Glass was a prominent manufacturer of high quality glassware based in Cambridge, Ohio. During the 1920s and 1930s, the business thrived due to their popular designs and high level of finish. As the demand for handmade glass declined after WWII, the company was eventually forced to close its doors in 1958.
