Italy, ca. 1970s. A large charger from famed Murano glass maker Barovier & Toso, which happens to be the oldest family business in the world. Features white opaline glass construction imbedded with gold particles. Striking in its scale and simplicity, this would make a lovely centerpiece on a large dining table - or look especially attractive on a stand near a window. Etched signature to underside, the condition is excellent.
