Each silkscreen on paper was individually printed by Ives-Sillman, Inc. of New Haven, who published Albers’ monographic portfolios. Originally intended as proofs or promotional announcements, the reverse of the frame has the paper label “A Portfolio: Homage to the Square by Josef Albers.” From the estate of Sewell Sillman. Visually striking and in excellent condition.
