Born in 1565, Jacques de Gheyn (also known as Jacob de Gheyn) was a Dutch painter and engraver whose work evolved from Northern Mannerism to Dutch realism during the span of his career. Leonard Baskin was a sculptor, artist, and draughtsman, as well as the founder of the Gehenna Press - one of America's first fine art presses. Known for his large-scale woodblock prints and bronze sculptures, Baskin’s work is often stark yet energetic. A finely executed print in overall excellent vintage condition.
