Norway, ca. 1960s. A petite chest or low console in the style of Kai Kristiansen or Aksel Kjersgaard. Made by Breistein Møbelfabrik, it features rosewood construction with a clean, minimalist form. Four drawers are ideal for keys, mail, etc. Elegant and supremely useful, pieces of this size have become difficult to find. The perfect storage solution for a foyer, hallway, or odd nook that needs a little dressing up. Condition is excellent.
