USA, ca. 1980. A rare early version of architect Steven Holl’s A-Chair. Features maple construction with oyster gray painted surface. A study in right angles that was intended to fit snuggly into the corner of any room, the A-Chair was Holl’s first experiment with furniture design. Based in New York, Holl’s work includes Simmons Hall at MIT. Signed, dated, and in excellent condition. A fun and collectible piece for the architecture or design enthusiast.
