Afghanistan, ca. 1900. A nice old hand-woven Baluch prayer rug. Features wool construction with traditional tribal motifs. Known for their dark coloring and angular design, we rather like how the pop of orange plays against the navy and light brown/gray in this particularly geometric Baluch. Perfect next to a bed - or even as a wall hanging. Finely executed and in overall excellent antique condition.
