Sweden, ca. 1960s. A striking ceramic dessert service from Søholm’s Blue Granit series designed by Maria Phiippi. Includes handsome tea (or coffee) pot with lid, four cups with matching saucers, four dessert plates perfect for pastries, cakes, or baked goods, a large milk pitcher, and two small serving bowls for sugar, jam, etc. Dark cobalt blue glaze is highlighted with hints of dark and light brown. Handmade with impressed geometric design. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 10” wide x 6” deep x 5” high (teapot). Item: 1107-42.
