USA, ca. 1945. A rare glazed ceramic catch-all bowl designed by Russel Wright for Bauer Pottery of Atlanta, Georgia. From Wright’s ill-fated “art pottery” line, which saw only limited production. Features chunky egg shape with pleasing charcoal and terracotta tones. In overall excellent vintage condition with facsimile Russel Wright signature to underside. Great scale and weight that is both organic and modern. Dimensions: 10.5” wide x 7” deep x 2” high.
