LC1 Sling Chair

LC1 Sling Chair

$1,250.00

Italy, ca. 1960s. A classic LC1 Chair originally designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Called basculant because of its pivoting back support, the chair was intended to ergonomically accommodate the human body. Both innovative and attractive, its design helped introduce tubular steel into the domestic setting. This older example features a nicely-patinated frame with broken-in cowhide upholstery and saddle leather arm straps. Well-loved with both plenty of soul and life left, this is just how we like our modern. Dimensions: 23” wide x 25” deep x 25.5” high - 15” seat height. Item: 1198-4.
