USA, ca. 1970s. A rare and quite chic side or accent table by Karl Springer (1931-1991). Features curved solid brass base with asymmetrical top fashioned from a large specimen of petrified wood sourced in Arizona. A striking blend of textures and materials, we especially appreciate the combination of oxidized brass with the stone's raw edge and dramatic surface. A documented design - yet unsigned - as is usually the case with these tables. From a NYC estate.

Overall excellent vintage condition. The brass could be polished if so desired; however, we prefer it as is.
