Denmark, ca. 1950s. A lovely set of three nesting tables by Erling Torvits for Heltborg Møbler. Each features teak construction with a rectangular top supported by sculptural legs with attractively flared stretchers. The smaller table includes a woven cane shelf perfect for holding books or magazines. Smartly designed and quite elegant, this set is great for entertaining, between two lounge chairs, or even as an impromptu bedside table. Professionally refinished, the condition is excellent.
