Denmark, ca. 1960s. A clever side table from Kristian Vedel’s Modus line for Søren Willadsen. Features solid rosewood construction with an attractive square base that supports a reversible aluminum top - of which one side is covered in beautifully grained rosewood veneer (while the other is smooth metal). Perfect as a low side table or plant stand, we especially enjoy the combination of materials. Would also make a versatile night stand next to a platform bed. Professionally refinished, the condition is excellent.
