Jamaica, ca. early 19th century. An elegant Regency tilt-top breakfast table. Features an oval top constructed of solid bookmatched mahogany with a turned pedestal base. Four curved legs with carved detailing are supported by brass lion paw feet with casters.
Regency period furniture is celebrated for its neoclassical influence and balanced proportions. With a tilt mechanism for easy storage or display, this table is both functional and decorative.
