Maple Carpenter's Workbench
Maple Carpenter's Workbench
$2,800.00
USA, ca. 1930s or 1940s. A rugged and attractively distressed carpenter’s workbench. Features solid maple construction with original cast iron vice manufactured in Ohio by Brodhead Garret. The red number “9” on the stretcher makes us think this piece is most likely from a factory or school wood shop. Well used and abused with a few bits of graffiti. Smaller in scale compared to many workbenches, this would be fun set up as a home bar. Folding support allows height to be lowered if so desired. Perfectly imperfect vintage condition.
Dimensions: 48” wide x 20.25 deep / 25” deep (including vise) x 25” x 32” high or 29” high (lowest configuration).
