Denmark, ca. 1960s. A handsome teak flip-top partners desk by Peter Løvig Nielsen for Løvig. Features nicely grained teak construction with four drawers and a hinged flip-top gallery, converting from a writing desk to a well sized partners desk or expanded work table. The cleverly designed storage compartments and dovetailed trays function in both configurations. Desk drawers feature attractive recessed carved pulls. With the gallery flipped up, open compartments reveal an integrated rear leg design adding visual interest and clever storage for paperwork, books, etc.
Professionally refurbished yet still retains a warm patina. Condition is excellent.
