Austria, ca. 1970s. A nice example of the No. 21 rocking chair originally designed in the late 1800s by Michael Thonet for Thonet. Features elaborately curved bentwood frame with hand woven caneseat and back. Comfortable and classic, this piece would be lovely in a child’s room or nursery. In overall very good vintage condition with honest wear to natural beech finish. Caning remains beautifully intact. This particular version is of Polish manufacture.
