Norway, ca. 1960s. An elegant yet relaxed pair of lounge chairs by Fredrik Kayser for Vatne Møbler. Referred to as the Model 965, each features an accommodating upholstered frame with graceful swoop arms and loose seat and back cushions. Combined with the minimalist teak legs and stretchers, the overall design recalls the earlier forms of Kaare Klint. Freshly upholstered in an ivory Belgian linen, these would be perfect in a beach house or cottage. Light, livable, and in excellent restored condition.
Dimensions: 28” wide x 30” deep x 30” high; 17” seat height.
