Denmark, ca. 1950s. A stunning and rare pair of Model 41 folding stools originally designed by Poul Hundevad (1917-2011) in 1948. Each features exceptionally carved teak frames with cognac leather seats. Referred to as the Goldhøj or Gold Hill stools, the form is a replica of a Bronze Age artifact found in Vamdrup, Denmark dating back to 1300 BC. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 19” wide x 16” deep x 14” high.
