Pair of Adirondack Arts & Crafts Plank Chairs
Pair of Adirondack Arts & Crafts Plank Chairs
$2,800.00
USA, ca. 1930s. A stylish pair of occasional chairs from the Adirondacks. Each features handmade construction fashioned from six cuts of wood - most likely by a local craftsman or carpenter. Modernist with a strong silhouette, the design brings to mind Thomas Lee’s Westport Chair.
Comfortable with a pitched seat, and with a nicely distressed rust red painted finish, these would be great on a porch, deck, or even as fireside chairs. Lightly refurbished to ensure stability, and freshly waxed to preserve period finish, these are in excellent antique condition.
Dimensions: 17.75” wide x 23” deep x 35.25” high; 18.5” seat height.
