USA, ca. 1950s. A nice older DAX armchair by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Features sturdy fiberglass shell in early Greige color option supported by black iron tubular legs with boot glides. Construction details date this second generation model to 1954/1955. Makes for a comfortable desk or accent chair. The condition is excellent.
DAX is an acronym for Dining (D) height, Arm (A) chair, on X base (X).
Dimensions: 24.5" wide x 22" deep x 31.25" high; 17.5" seat height.
