USA, ca. 1960s. A three-seat tuxedo sofa from Ben Thompson’s Down Seating Group for Design Research. Designed in 1953. Features solid ash frame with hand-tied coil springs. Cushions originally filled with goose/down mixture were intended to be interchangeable to minimize wear. Supported by tubular metal legs. A Cambridge classic ready for its next chapter. Will require 20 yards of approved material (COM).

Dimensions: 88” long x 38” deep x 27” high.

$2400 as is - light wear and age to upholstery as shown in photos. Sturdy frame is a perfect candidate for restoration.
