USA, ca. 1950s. A scarce and streamlined 2-part letter tray originally designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll in 1948. Features molded plywood construction finished in walnut veneer. Clever brushed aluminum rod allows “in” box or “out” box to pivot out of the way. Professionally refinished with early Knoll Madison Avenue label to underside. A handsome and practical addition to even the most cluttered desk. Excellent condition.
