USA, ca. 1990s. A stunning studio necklace by Cape Cod goldsmith Ross Coppelman. Features polished green kyanite interspersed with 22K gold beads. Sculptural clasp, which is also gold, cleverly mimics the shape of the stones. Active since the 1970s, Coppelman’s early designs were inspired by jewelry from antiquity, while his more recent work is inspired by the landscape of the Cape. To us, this piece demonstrates both. Signed and in excellent vintage condition.
