Originally intended as a proof from a possibly unpublished series, a similar composition is also found in Zeichnungen / Drawings published by Wittenborn and Company, New York; Spiral Press, Bern, 1956. From the estate of Sewell Sillman. Visually compelling, the condition is excellent.
