USA, ca. 1940s. An elegant chest designed by Harry Israel for Wonoco. Features a mahogany case with satin espresso finish and sculptural quatrefoil brass pulls. Wonoco was a Massachusetts company that was eventually taken over by American designer Harvey Probber in the 1950s. Recently refurbished and in excellent vintage condition.
