USA, ca. 1970s. A colorful kitchen scene by Boston artist Joseph Ablow (1928-2012). Ablow was born in Salem, MA and lived, worked, and taught within the Boston area for almost sixty years. He studied with Oskar Kokoschka, Ben Shahn, and received degrees from Bennington College and Harvard University. During his career, Ablow held academic positions at Boston University, Amherst College, Wellesley, Bard College, and Middlebury College. Nicely framed with gallery label to reverse.
