Italy, ca. 1950s. A charming ceramic water pitcher with applied floral decoration. Very much in the style of Guido Gambone for Industria Ceramica Salernita or ICS. Founded in 1927 by Max Malamerson, a German businessman, the company combined folk themes with modern forms. A both useful and decorative object in excellent vintage condition. Artist’s signature to underside. Dimensions 6” long x 4” wide x 8.5” high. Item: 1000-8172.
