Denmark, ca. 1970s. A nicely made teak dining table by John Mortensen for Ansager Møbler. Features thick, banded top with subtle inlaid border supported by smartly-designed pedestal base. Easily expands from round to oval with the addition of two 20” leaves. Recently refinished and in overall excellent vintage condition. Splayed base minimizes footprint yet maximizes room for guests. Easily seats four to eight comfortably. Dimensions: 48” diameter x 28.5” high (without leaves) - total length of 88” when both leaves inserted. Item: 2253-200.
