Denmark, ca. 1950s or 1960s. A charming and finely executed necklace with matching earrings by Volmer Bahner. Features sterling silver construction with blue guilloche enamel. Calla lily design is sensitively rendered with organic, sculptural form. Born in 1912, Bahner graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1930. He created works in bronze and ceramic; however, he is best known for his modernist enamel and silver jewelry. In overall excellent vintage condition. Dimensions: 16.5” long x .5” wide (necklace).
