USA, ca. 1950s. A classic set of eight handmade side chairs by the E.A. Clore Company of Madison County, Virgina. Each with solid walnut frame and woven rush seat. In production for generations, and a favorite of D/R’s Ben Thompson, these side chairs demonstrate a strong Shaker sensibility. Sturdy, comfortable, and suitable for a wide range of interiors. In overall very good vintage condition with warm surface patina. Dimensions: 18” wide x 15” deep x 35.5” high - 18.5” seat height. Item: 3411-2.
