USA, ca. 1970s. A nicely worn B3 or Wassily Chair by Marcel Breuer. Features polished tubular chromed steel frame with black leather slings. Originally designed by Breuer in 1925/26, and inspired by bicycle frames, Breuer conceived of the Wassily chair while he was head of the cabinet-making workshop at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany. While the manufacturer is unknown, this is a well made, older example. In overall very good vintage condition. Dimensions: 31” wide x 25.5” deep x 29” high - 17” seat height. Item: 1000-8554.
