USA, ca. 1967. A framed poster from the Brooklyn Museum’s exhibit The Triumph of Realism, which ran in October and November of 1967. Prominently features John Singer Sargent’s Madame X - one of the 98 paintings included in the show. The exhibit illustrated the series of relationships that contributed to the establishment of an international school of 19th century realistic painting. In overall very good vintage condition with original burl wood style frame. Dimensions: 26.25” wide x 37.25” high x. 75” deep.
