An attractive pair of red leather storage shelves designed by New York artist and furniture designer Julian Schnabel (b. 1951) exclusively for the infamous Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. Each features four shelves with two large drawers. Finished with oxidized brass studs and hammered iron hardware. Handmade, solid, and supremely stylish. Now closed, the Gramercy Park Hotel was an institution that hosted countless celebrities over the years. In overall excellent condition with pleasing patina. Dimensions: 18” wide x 18.5” deep x 66” high.
