$375.00
USA, ca. 1960s. A group of 1006 Navy chairs manufactured by Emeco. Originally designed in 1944 for US Navy battleships, each chair is assembled by hand in Hanover, Pennsylvania through a two-week, 77-step process. Welded together from 12 pieces of aluminum, each joint is carefully finished to create the appearance of being cast from a single piece. Incredibly durable, light, and ergonomic, these chairs pair well with a wide variety of tables. All in overall very good vintage condition with appropriate patina. Dimensions: 16” wide x 17” deep 34” high; 18” seat height.
