USA, ca. early 20th century. A charming and beautifully made tea strainer from the Frank Whiting Company. Features sterling silver construction with pierced handle and fluted basket. Founded in North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1878, the company became part of Ellmore Silver in 1940, which went out of business around 1960. Wonderfully evocative of a different time and way of life. Would make a beautiful housewarming gift. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 5.5” wide x 2.5” deep x 1” high.
