American Folk Art Painting

American Folk Art Painting
$375.00
USA, ca. 1908. A charming naive landscape signed A. Legoff. Most likely by Amelia Legoff, who was born in Canada in 1882 and later moved to Winslow Maine. Possibly a self-portrait with Amelia at the center in red dress and apron - with two loyal chickens standing by. A snippet of daily life in thickly painted oil on board. Some insignificant damage to period gold frame, which really only adds to its appeal. Dimensions: 23.25” wide x 16.75” high x 1.5” deep.
