Denmark, ca. 1950s. An early set of 8 model W2 dining chairs designed by Hans Wegner for C. M. Madsen. Each features solid teak frame with organic curved backrests. Danish cord seats have been recently rewoven and are in mint condition. Frames are sturdy with a warm patina. Branded manufacturer’s mark to underside. A lovely and increasingly hard to find large set. Price includes professional conditioning of wood surface. Dimensions: 19.5” wide x 16.5” deep x 30” high; 16.75” seat height.
