USA, ca. early 20th century. A sculptural antique rocking chair with oak and pine frame. Features turned legs and high spindle back with carved relief detail. Freshly upholstered in a vintage black and white hand-loomed Greek cotton, which accentuates the chair’s graphic qualities. Has an almost Mexican or Spanish-Colonial feel to it, which we rather like. Would be most welcoming on a porch, in den, or even in a nursery. Condition is overall excellent with dark patina. Dimensions: 23” wide x 28” deep x 39” high; 18” seat height.
