USA, ca. 1900. A quirky and unusual pair of antique andirons recently fashioned into table lamps. Originally manufactured by the Howes Foundry of Boston, each features cast iron construction inset with amber glass eyes that diffuse light when lamps are on. Professionally wired and mounted to custom steel bases, these would be a hoot in a kid’s room or library. Fitted with new linen shades, the condition is excellent.
Dimensions: 12” wide x 7” deep x 25” high; shade measures 13” diameter x 9.5” high.
