Denmark, ca. 1930s. A large model 177 sterling silver brooch by George Jensen. Features pleasing grapevine motif with open work and scalloped border. Hallmarks date production between 1933 and 1944. A beautifully executed and early example of the Art Nouveau designs for which Jensen would become famous. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 2.5” wide x 1.75” high x .25” deep.
