Victor Vasarely Black & White Silkscreen
Victor Vasarely Black & White Silkscreen
$600.00
France, ca. 1960s. A striking black and white silkscreen titled Dora-B by Hungarian-born artist Victor Vasarely (1906-1997). Features pleasing geometric composition that creates an intriguing 3-D effect. Regarded as the “grandfather” of Op-Art, Vasarely’s optical patterns introduced a visually kinetic element to a traditionally flat medium. His works are held in the collections of the Tate Gallery in London, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice among others. Signed, numbered, and presented in its period frame. Condition is excellent.
