Yugoslavia, ca. 1970s. A classic and comfortable scissor chair afterHans Wegner’s design from the late 1940s. Features a solid beech frame with hand-woven cord seat and back. American aid in the 1950s, combined a large workforce and abundance of materials, led to the introduction of Yugoslavian imports that offered Danish-inspired designs at more affordable prices. In overall excellent vintage condition.
