Sweden or Denmark, ca. 1960s. A beautifully made rectangular draw-leaf dining table most likely by Karl-Erik Ekselius for Dux. Features generous top with two self-storing leaves supported by delicately flared apron and turned, tapered legs. Elegant with a subtle Shaker influence, walnut tables of this style are quite scarce. Professionally refinished and in excellent vintage condition. Easily seats six to ten dining companions. Dimensions: 53” wide x 33.5” deep x 28.75” high (without leaves); 2 leaves measure 20” each for a total length of 93” when both extended.
